Vandy Cattle is a cattle operation located at Benson, Saskatchewan approximately 100 miles south east of Regina, Saskatchewan or 140 miles north west of Minot, North Dakota. We concentrate on producing top quality club calf steer and heifer prospects.

Our main focus is on our cow herd, which we feel is a very consistent, powerful group of females. Through strict selection and very careful breeding we feel we have assembled a set of cows that are meeting our needs. Our females must be sound structured, easy fleshing, and heavy milking €“ all real world traits. However, they must possess extra muscle shape and eye appeal suitable for producing show prospects. Our females are mostly Maine, Simmental, Shorthorn or Club Calf influenced, most being backed by very influential genetics.

By utilizing quality females and pairing them with our own bulls as well as proven A.I. sires, we find it possible to produce quality show prospects that are in demand for todays market. Our prospect calves are either sold privately or in November at Canadian Western Agribition through the Prospect Show & Sale.
